Walk from Centraal Station along Brouwersgracht and into the canal district. Pass Café Papeneiland, the Anne Frank House and Westerkerk, then wind through the Nine Streets to the Begijnhof. The route is enjoyable from the street; allow extra time for any visits indoors. Some places have opening hours or require a separate ticket.
