Riga Museum of World Freemasonry

Riga, Latvia

The Riga Museum of World Freemasonry presents documents, books and ceremonial objects at Baznīcas iela 7. Opened in October 2026, it grew from collector Konstantīns Rubahins’s interest in the history of Freemasonry.

Guide preview

A rough stone and a worked stone can carry an idea as well as a shape. At the Riga Museum of World Freemasonry, collector Konstantīns Rubahins uses objects and symbols to explain traditions that are often surrounded by mystery. In his account to Latvian public broadcaster LSM, the stones represent a person’s work on self-improvement. That is an interpretation within a tradition, not a single explanation shared by every Masonic organisation.
